Piet Dirkx

Piet Dirkx (Eindehoven, 1953) studied (1971-1983) at the Academie voor Schone Kunsten (Arendonk), Academy voor Beeldende Vorming (Tilburg), Nationaal Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten (Antwerp) and the Jan van Eyckacademie (Maastricht). Dirkx’ work is a never-ending study of form and colour, often through combinations and entanglements of texts and drawings brought together in installations or ‘wandwerken’ of notebooks and cigar boxes.
