Karin Broos

Karin Broos (1950, Uppsala) grew up in Lund and lived in The Netherlands in the ‘70s., She attended St. Joost Art Academy in Den Bosch, after which she moved back to Sweden and settled in Värmland. Her 2008 exhibition at the Krstinehamn Konstmuseum, followed by a solo-exhibition at Christian Larsen’s gallery in Stockholm in 2009, brought her great national recognition. From 1998 to 2010 she and her Dutch husband Marc Broos ran Alma Löv Museum in and around their house in Smedsby, Ostra Amtervik.
