Cees Andriessen

Cees Andriessen (Wageningen, 1940) is one of the prominent representatives of non-figurative art of his generation of Dutch artists. Since the late 1960s Andriessen has worked on an (inter)nationally much- praised oeuvre consisting mainly of lino- and woodcuts, characterized by clear forms and a sparing use of colour.
